We recently stayed at Thoms Beach Homestay for a few days and had a wonderful time. Thom, our host, was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. He even organized a fantastic canoe trip on the backwaters, which was a highlight of our trip. The hotel is conveniently located close to the beach, with plenty of options for food and drink nearby. The rooftop seating area is a cool place to relax and the hotel offers free tea, coffee, and filtered drinking water. The rooms were spotlessly clean and had hot water. excellent value for money.

The dorm room was comfortable, with private curtains and personal fans for each bed. The toilet and shower were clean and well-maintained. The best part was definitely the top floor terrace, with its hammocks and hanging chairs. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the breeze. The location was also convenient, with the beach and some lovely restaurants within walking distance.

There were a few minor inconveniences during our stay. The hot water wasn't working, but the host assured us that it was a temporary issue that would be fixed soon.

The one thing that could have made my vacation even better as a senior person is if the children working there had offered assistance with carrying luggage to the room.

I had an amazing stay at this homestay near the beach. The host was friendly and helpful, providing great local knowledge. The dorm room was clean and had a fresh towel. There was a fan and mosquito grate on the window for comfort. The bathroom was clean with a good shower. The rooftop was a great place to relax with a nice breeze. The fast WiFi and RO water in the kitchen were added bonuses. I also hired a bicycle and went on a canoe trip, both arranged by the host.

Great location, close to the beach and other attractions. The owner and his wife were friendly and caring. The room had a comfortable king size bed and a private bathroom. An added benefit was the small kitchen where we could make tea and coffee. The owner also booked a canoeing tour for us, which was a fabulous experience. The tour included breakfast, lunch, and the ferry to the canoeing spot, all for a reasonable price. it was a great stay with friendly hosts and convenient amenities.

There were a few issues during our stay. there were no mosquito nets on the windows, but the owner provided joss sticks to keep them away.

I always stay at this homestay with no regrets. The staff even helped me with late departure on my first stay. It has everything I need, like free Wi-Fi, AC, flat-screen TV, fitness center, yoga class. Can't wait to come back for another trip!
